Day Trip to Jericho

After picking you up from your hotel in Jerusalem at 8:30 am, we will depart for Jericho, the oldest city in the world, and take a panoramic tour of its historical center to learn about this ancient settlement.

We will explore the extensive history of this Biblical city, visiting important sites like the Sycamore tree from the story of Zacchaeus and Elisha's Spring.

Next, we will visit the western part of the city to ride the Jericho Cable Car, which holds the Guinness World Record for the longest cable car below sea level. This ride will take us to the Mount of Temptation, known for its impressive Biblical views.

The excursion will continue to Qaser el Yahud on the Jordan River, believed to be the site where John baptized Jesus, now a popular spot for visitor baptisms.

Our final stop will be the Dead Sea, where you can relax in its waters and enjoy its natural healing properties. The excursion concludes back in Jerusalem at around 6:30 pm.
