Discover all the secrets, enigmas, and legends of the Holy City for the three principal monotheistic religions on this guided tour that heads down the streets of Jerusalem to discover its history and culture.

Description

After hotel pickup at the scheduled time, the guided tour of Jerusalem begins.

The tour starts with a climb up Mount Scopus for views of the old part of the city, followed by a visit to the Gardens of Gethsemani and the Church of All Nations before proceeding to the old town.

The itinerary includes traversing HaKardo, the main street from Jerusalem's Byzantine period. In the Jewish Quarter, visit the Western Wall, the last remnant of the ancient Temple of Jerusalem, where wishes can be left in the wall's crevices. Behind it is the Dome of the Rock, a significant Islamic shrine.

Next, explore the Christian Quarter, including the Holy Sepulchre church, located at the site where Jesus was crucified, and follow the Via Dolorosa Street commemorating his path to crucifixion.

During midday, enjoy an hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant. The tour will continue to modern Jerusalem to view the Parliament of Israel and the Holocaust Museum to discuss significant historical events.

After 10 hours of exploration, the tour concludes back at your hotel.
