Discover all the secrets, enigmas, and legends of the Holy City for the three principal monotheistic religions on this guided tour that heads down the streets of Jerusalem to discover its history and culture.

Description

After collecting you from the David Citadel Hotel at the scheduled time, we'll start our guided tour of Jerusalem.

The tour begins by climbing Mount Scopus for views of the old part of the city, followed by a visit to the Gardens of Gethsemani and the Church of All Nations as we head to the old town.

We'll traverse HaKardo, the main street from Jerusalem's Byzantine period. In the Jewish Quarter, we'll visit the Western Wall, the last remnants of the ancient Temple of Jerusalem. You can leave a piece of paper with your wishes in the wall's nooks. Behind it is the Dome of the Rock, a shrine to Islam.

Continuing to the Christian Quarter, you'll see the Holy Sepulchre church, built at the site of Jesus' crucifixion. We'll also follow his path along the Via Dolorosa Street.

Around midday, enjoy an hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant. We will reconvene to visit modern Jerusalem, viewing the Parliament of Israel and the Holocaust Museum.

After 10 hours of exploration, our tour concludes.

Important

On Fridays, Saturdays, and public holidays, the visit to the Holocaust Museum will be replaced with a visit to Miskenot Sha'ananím, the first Jewish neighborhood outside the ancient city of Jerusalem.
