On this tour of the Mount of Olives, we will discover the history and facts about one of the most symbolic places in Jerusalem.

Mount of Olives Walking Tour

At the appointed time, we will meet at the Jaffa Gate. From there, we will travel by bus to the Mount of Olives, a symbol of Jerusalem and a mystical place in the Holy Land.

First, we will stop at the foot of the Mount to visit the Jewish cemetery, one of the oldest cemeteries in the world.

After the cemetery, we will ascend to the top of the Mount of Olives for panoramic views of Jerusalem and learn about its significance for Christians. We will continue our tour visiting the Chapel of the Ascension and the Church of Dominus Flevit.

Our next stop will be the garden of Gethsemane, where, according to the New Testament, Jesus prayed before his arrest. Following this, we will visit the tomb of the Virgin Mary, another significant site at the foot of the Mount of Olives.

Finally, after a three-hour tour, we will conclude at the Lions' Gate.
