Camel Ride in the Thar Desert

Options

When booking, you can choose between two different options. Both include pickup at your hotel or the airport, train or bus station in Jodhpur, an English-speaking guide, and a Marwari-style lunch.

Camel ride (6 hours)

After pickup, we'll head to Osian to visit the Sachiya Mata Temple, an 9th-century Jaini building ordered by King Parmar Upendre. You can explore it on your own and discover the details of this monument that worships the mother goddess Sachiya.

Afterward, we'll go to a local restaurant for a Marwari-style meal. Post-lunch, we'll head to the Thar Desert, where we'll enjoy a camel ride through the dunes for two hours.

Camel ride + Visit to a Bishnoi village (10 hours)

After pickup, we'll first visit a Bishnoi village, learning about the culture and lifestyle of the community. We'll also see various wildlife, including black bucks, chinkara, blue bulls, desert foxes, hares, and partridges.

Following this, we'll visit the Sachiya Mata Temple, enjoy a Marwari-style lunch, and take a camel ride in the Thar Desert for a complete experience.
