Day Trip to Osian & Khichan from Jodhpur

Join us on a day trip from Jodhpur to Osian and Khichan, exploring Hindu and Jain temples and a sanctuary for demoiselle cranes.

Description

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Jodhpur. We will travel to Osian, known for its ancient temples from the 8th to 12th centuries. Here, you will see 16 Brahmanic and Jain temples, including the notable Sachchiya Mata temple and Mahavir Jain temple.

After exploring, we will enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant. Following the meal, we will continue to Khichan, located approximately 75 kilometers away. This town is known for hosting flocks of demoiselle cranes each winter, supported by the local community. We will discuss the relationship between the town and these migratory birds.

After approximately six hours of sightseeing, we will return you to your hotel in Jodhpur.
