During this Jawai Dam private safari, you'll journey through the heart of Rajasthan to seek leopards and other wildlife.
Description
You'll be picked up from your hotel in Jodhpur to start the wildlife safari at Jawai Dam. Expect a three-hour drive to one of India's prime leopard sighting locations. We will first visit Jawai Dam to observe crocodiles and migratory birds; Jawai is the largest water reservoir in western Rajasthan.
After a scenic 30-minute drive along the dam's banks, we will board a 4x4 vehicle to enter a leopard reserve. Accompanied by an expert guide, we will search for these felines and learn about the Indian leopard.
A break for lunch will provide the opportunity to enjoy a packed meal or dine at local restaurants at Jawai Dam before continuing the safari.
After lunch, we will explore the hilly terrain around the dam and pause for a tea break to appreciate the scenery and take photographs.
The private safari will conclude at Jawai Dam approximately 9 hours later, returning you to your hotel in Jodhpur.
