Night in the Thar Desert

On this tour you'll spend a magical night in the Thar desert. We'll enjoy sunset and sunrise over the sand dunes, ride camels and visit the Osian temples - an unforgettable experience!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your selected point in Jodhpur and drive to Osian, a real oasis in the Thar Desert.

This town has numerous Hindu temples dating back to the 8th century. On the tour, we'll take you to the Sachiya Mata Temple, an imposing walled Jain monument whose main attraction are the sculptures on the roof. We also recommend checking out the statues that pay homage to Goddess Durga.

We'll continue our tour to the Thar desert village where we'll spend the night. Once we're settled in the huts, we'll embark on a camel ride to watch the sunset as we ride across the dunes.

Camel riding works up quite the appetite! So once we return to the camp we'll enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars, before settling in for the night.

With the first light of dawn, we'll wake up and watch the sunrise over the Thar desert, the colours of the dunes will stay with you forever!

We'll have breakfast together and finally head to Jodhpur where the tour will end at around midday.
