Night in the Thar Desert

On this tour you'll spend a night in the Thar desert. Enjoy sunset and sunrise over the sand dunes, ride camels, and visit the Osian temples.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your selected point in Jodhpur and drive to Osian, an oasis in the Thar Desert.

This town has numerous Hindu temples dating back to the 8th century. On the tour, we'll visit the Sachiya Mata Temple, a Jain monument known for its roof sculptures, and statues honoring Goddess Durga.

We'll proceed to the Thar desert village where we'll spend the night. After settling in the huts, we'll embark on a camel ride to watch the sunset across the dunes.

After the camel ride, we'll enjoy dinner under the stars before settling in for the night.

With dawn, we'll wake up to watch the sunrise over the Thar desert. The colors of the dunes will leave a lasting impression.

We'll have breakfast together and head back to Jodhpur, where the tour will conclude around midday.
