Options

When booking, you can choose between two different options. Both include pickup at your hotel or the airport, train or bus station in Jodhpur, an English-speaking guide and a delicious Marwari-style lunch.

Camel Ride (6 Hours)

After pickup, we'll head to Osian to visit the Sachiya Mata Temple, built by King Parmar Upendre in the 9th century. You can explore the details of this monument that worships the mother goddess Sachiya. Following the temple visit, we will enjoy a Marwari-style meal at a local restaurant. Next, we will proceed to the Thar Desert for a two-hour camel ride through the dunes.

Camel Ride + Visit to a Bishnoi Village (10 Hours)

After pickup, we'll visit a Bishnoi village to learn about the community’s culture and wildlife, including black bucks, chinkara, blue bulls, desert foxes, hares and partridges. Following this visit, we will continue with the itinerary mentioned above: visiting the Sachiya Mata Temple, enjoying a Marwari-style lunch, and taking a camel ride through the Thar Desert.
