After picking you up from your hotels at 8 am, we'll drive to the Cullinan Diamond Mine, approximately 1 hour away.

Upon arrival, you'll be taken on a guided tour of the surface of this 100-year-old mine. You'll observe the large shaft more than 1000 metres deep.

For about 2 hours, you'll learn about the formation of diamonds, from their birth to their cutting into jewels.

This mine gained fame after the discovery of the Cullinan diamond, known as the Star of the South. The tour will address its weight, its breaking into hundreds of pieces, and its significance in the British monarchy's coronations.

After the visit to the diamond mine, we'll return to the bus and drive to the village of Cullinan. We'll walk through this small town, seeing St. George's Church and its brownstone houses.

The tour will conclude at 3 pm when we arrive back at the hotels after visiting one of South Africa's great tourist attractions.
