After picking you up from your hotels at 8 am, we'll drive to the Cullinan Diamond Mine, which takes approximately 1 hour.

Upon arrival, you'll be taken on a guided tour of the surface of this 100-year-old mine. You'll observe its excavations, including a shaft that is more than 1000 metres deep.

For about 2 hours, you'll learn about the formation of diamonds, from their birth to their cutting into jewels.

This mine became famous after the discovery of the great Cullinan diamond, nicknamed the Star of the South. The tour will address questions about its weight, the fact that it broke into hundreds of pieces, and its significance in British coronations.

After the visit to the diamond mine, we'll return to the bus and drive to the village of Cullinan. The tour will include a walk through the streets of this small town, past St. George's Church and its brownstone houses.

The tour will end at 3 pm when we arrive back at the hotels after visiting one of South Africa's great tourist attractions.
