Kruger National Park 3-Day Safari

We'll see zebras, elephants, lions and other wild animals on this 3-day safari at Kruger National Park, located between South Africa and Mozambique.

Description

Day 1: Johannesburg – Hazyview

Welcome to South Africa! We will pick you up from O. R. Tambo International Airport or a hotel within a 5-kilometre (3-mile) radius of the terminal. After a 4-hour journey, we will arrive at a lodge in Hazyview for a light lunch. In the evening, we'll head to Kruger National Park for a romantic sunset over the African Savanna. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 2: Hazyview – Kruger National Park– Hazyview

We will wake up before sunrise to start an unforgettable sunrise safari in Kruger National Park. After a 3-hour safari, we'll have a traditional picnic breakfast. The safari will continue with views of rivers and savanna plains. We will then stop at a Kruger campsite for a bathroom break and optional lunch (at your own expense) before returning to the lodge. The afternoon is free for you to relax and enjoy dinner at the lodge.

Day 3: Hazyview – Kruger National Park - Hazyview - Johannesburg

On the final day, we will repeat the sunrise safari in Kruger National Park. After breakfast, we’ll return to the lodge around midday to collect our luggage and transfer you back to the airport in Johannesburg, arriving between 5-6 pm.

Accommodation

This safari includes 2 nights of accommodation with breakfast in a 3-star lodge in Hazyview, such as Umbhaba Eco Lodge. Prices are per person in a double room.

Schedules for Flights and Transfers

For the outbound flight, pickup is from O. R. Tambo International Airport at the Shuttle and Bus Terminal between 6:45 am and 7 am, departing for Hazyview at 7:15 am. Your arrival flight should not be later than 5 am. It is recommended to stay at a hotel in Johannesburg the night before the safari. Pickup is also available from nearby hotels between 6:30 am and 6:45 am.

On the return day, we will drop you off in Johannesburg between 5-6 pm. If departing from O. R. Tambo International Airport, do not book flights before 8 pm for national or 9 pm for international departures.
