Description

Day 1: Johannesburg - Hazyview

Upon arrival in Johannesburg, transfer from the airport or hotel to Hazyview takes approximately 4 hours to reach the lodge. After a light lunch and some rest, begin the evening with a sunset view over Kruger National Park, followed by dinner at the lodge.

Day 2: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview

Early morning sunrise safari in Kruger National Park to spot the Big Five. The safari lasts about 2 hours, ending with a picnic-style breakfast. Continue exploring the park's landscapes, concluding at a rest area where lunch is available at your own expense. Return to the lodge for the remainder of the day.

Day 3: Hazyview - Drakensberg - Hazyview

After breakfast, depart Hazyview for a tour of the Drakensberg mountains, visiting God's Window Viewpoint, Bourke's Luck Potholes, and Lisbon Falls. Lunch will be in Graskop before returning to the lodge for rest.

Day 4: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview - Johannesburg

Another early morning safari in Kruger Park. After breakfast, return to the lodge to check out and travel back to the airport in Johannesburg, expected arrival between 5 pm and 6 pm.

Accommodation

The safari includes 3 nights of accommodation with breakfast at the Umbhaba Eco Lodge (3 stars) or a similar establishment, with prices reflecting a double bedroom per person.

Flights and Transfers

For flights to Johannesburg, ensure arrival before 5 am on the first day for timely pickup from the Shuttle and Bus Terminal between 6:30 am and 7:15 am. For convenience, consider staying in Johannesburg the night prior. The return trip to Johannesburg on the final day will arrive around 5:30 pm - 6 pm, with options for hotel drop-off.
