Tour Highlights

Day 1: Johannesburg - Hazyview

Welcome to South Africa! We'll pick you up at Johannesburg Airport or your hotel and head northeast.

After about four hours on the road, we'll arrive at a lodge in Hazyview. You can have a light lunch and rest before heading out to witness a sunset over Kruger National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge follow.

Day 2: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview

We'll start early for an unforgettable sunrise safari through Kruger National Park looking for the Big Five. After three hours, we will take a break for a picnic breakfast. The safari continues through the park. After returning to the lodge for lunch, the afternoon is free to relax. Dinner is included.

Day 3: Hazyview - Drakensberg Mountains - Hazyview

We start with breakfast before touring the Drakensberg Mountains. Our first stop is God's Window viewpoint, followed by Bourke's Luck Potholes and Lisbon Falls. We will drive to Graskop for shopping and lunch before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 4: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview

After breakfast, we head out for another safari through Kruger National Park, aiming to spot different species. We'll return to the lodge for lunch, with the afternoon free until dinner.

Day 5: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview - Johannesburg

We have another early start for a sunrise safari in Kruger Park. After the safari, we'll have a picnic breakfast before returning to the lodge to gather luggage. Drop-off at Johannesburg Airport occurs between 5 pm and 6 pm.

Accommodation

This safari includes four nights at Umbhaba Eco Lodge (3-star) or similar, with breakfast included. Prices are per person in double occupancy.

Flight and Transfer Details

For your outbound flight, remember our pickup at Johannesburg Airport occurs at the Shuttle and Bus Terminal between 6:30 am and 7 am, departing for Hazyview at 7:15 am. Ensure your flight arrives by 5 am and consider staying in Johannesburg the night prior. We also provide pickups from nearby hotels from 6:30 am to 6:45 am.

On the last day, we aim to arrive in Johannesburg by 5:30 pm to 6 pm, with drop-off options available for the airport or nearby hotels. Please schedule flights accordingly, avoiding domestic flights before 8 pm and international flights before 9 pm.
