Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup at 9:30 am, leading you to Pretoria. Known affectionately as the Jacaranda City, this vibrant locale is adorned with numerous Jacaranda trees that beautify its parks.
We will commence our exploration at the Voortrekker Monument, a recognized South African National Heritage Site. Here, you will uncover the rich history concerning the Afrikaner people, the Great Trek, and the significant Battle of Blood River.
Following this enlightening visit, you will enjoy a 30-minute break for lunch. Our next destination is Church Square, located in the very heart of Pretoria. At this square, iconic structures await, including the impressive Palace of Justice and the historic Raadsaal, which served for many years as the seat of Parliament for the Republic of South Africa.
Continuing our exploration, we will proceed to the Union Buildings, the administrative center of the current government, where you can admire the largest sculpture of Nelson Mandela in the world, towering at 9 meters!
The itinerary also includes a visit to the Paul Kruger House Museum, providing insight into the historical conflicts in this area at the close of the 19th century. In addition, you will have the opportunity to explore Melrose House.
