Soweto + Apartheid Museum Day Trip

On the day of the activity, you will be picked up from your hotel and embark on a tour of Johannesburg.

The tour will cover life in South Africa during the 20th century and the struggle against racial segregation at the Apartheid Museum. A 30-minute break for lunch will occur around 1 pm.

In Soweto, you will walk along the historic Vilakazi Street to see Nelson Mandela's former home, exploring the life of the activist and former president.

Additional notable sites included in the tour are Soccer City Stadium, which hosted the 2010 World Cup, Desmond Tutu's home, and the Hector Pieterson Memorial.
