Soweto + Apartheid Museum Day Trip
On the day of the activity, pickup will be provided from your hotel for a tour of Johannesburg.
During the tour, explore life in South Africa in the 20th century and learn about the struggle against racial segregation at the Apartheid Museum. Around 1 pm, there will be a 30-minute break for lunch.
In Soweto, stroll down the historic Vilakazi Street and visit Nelson Mandela's former home to learn about his history as an activist and former president.
Other significant sites on the tour include Soccer City Stadium, which hosted the 2010 World Cup, Desmond Tutu's home, and the Hector Pieterson Memorial.
At the end of the tour, return transportation to your hotel will be provided, concluding the activity.
