Krüger House + Ango Kersten Farm Tour

Come in contact with rural life in the region of Joinville on this tour to Krüger House and the Ango Kersten farm. You'll visit a building that holds an unquantifiable historical weight and also go on a tractor ride around the farm.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Joinville and travel north to the Krüger House, approximately a 20-minute minibus journey.

Upon arrival, we will explore the history of Wally Krüger's House, a structure dating from 1925, situated where sugarcane and corn were once harvested. It is a notable example of German-Brazilian architecture and is designated as a National Historic Site.

Before departing the Krüger House, we will view various photographs, outfits, and utensils from the era and learn about German immigration to Santa Catarina in the last century.

Our next stop will be the Ango Kersten farm, where we will learn about rural life outside of Joinville. This includes a tractor ride through the farm's vegetable and fruit crops and observing the geese and other animals on the premises.

Following this, we will visit a colonial-style restaurant to enjoy a buffet featuring local delicacies. After approximately 4 hours of activities, the tour will conclude as we return to your hotel.
