Krüger House + Ango Kersten Farm Tour

Come in contact with rural life in the region of Joinville on this tour to Krüger House and the Ango Kersten farm. You'll visit a building that holds an unquantifiable historical weight and go on a tractor ride around the farm.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Joinville and head north to the Krüger House. The minibus journey will take around 20 minutes.

Upon arrival, we will learn about the history of Wally Krüger's House, a building from 1925, previously a site for harvesting sugarcane and corn. It is an example of German-Brazilian architecture and is catalogued as a National Historic Site.

Before leaving the Krüger House, we will view photographs, outfits, and utensils from that era, discussing German immigration to Santa Catarina in the last century.

The next stop will be the Ango Kersten farm, where we will learn about rural life near Joinville. This includes a tractor ride among the farm's vegetable and fruit crops and seeing the geese and other animals on the farm.

Finally, we will visit a colonial-style restaurant to enjoy a buffet of local delicacies. After 4 hours of activities, the tour will conclude back at your hotel.
