Uros Islands Tour

At the time of your choice, we will pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Juliaca and travel by minibus to Puno, where we will board a speedboat to the floating village of the Uros.

We will spend approximately two hours visiting the Uros islands, disembarking on two of the islands. We will explain how these artificial islands are built with totora reeds, an aquatic plant.

We will share insights about the traditions and beliefs of the Uros while observing their daily tasks, including fishing. This ethnic group descends from one of the ancient cultures of the American continent.

After six and a half hours, we will conclude the excursion and return you to your hotel.

Uros Islands 2 Day Tour

The 2-day tour is ideal for a longer stay on the Uros Islands. You will enjoy a night's accommodation in a traditional hut on one of the islands.

On the first day, you will explore the Uros islands, learn to fish with locals, and partake in lunch and a two-course dinner with a soft drink. You will also experience a magical sunset over Lake Titicaca.

On the second day, after tea or coffee and fruit, we will return you to Juliaca, dropping you off at your hotel at 1:30 pm.
