Stargazing at Mauna Kea Volcano

Enjoy a stargazing experience at the Mauna Kea volcano on the island of Hawaii.

Description

We will meet at your chosen pickup point at the indicated time and head to the Mauna Kea volcano for a stargazing sleepover.

After boarding our 4x4, we will journey to the summit of Mauna Kea, the highest point in Hawaii. Along the way, we will enjoy a snack and a warm drink with scenic views.

At the top of the crater, we will watch the sunset from Mauna Kea. The evening will involve learning about different constellations and planets with a laser pointer in a quiet area. We will use a professional telescope for stargazing, followed by taking photos with a DSLR camera. This activity lasts six to seven hours.
