Options
When booking, you can choose from three different options. All options start at Kealakehe Pkwy and include boat transportation, an English-speaking guide, and snorkeling equipment:
Snorkeling in Pawai Bay
This option approaches Pawai Bay, known for its beauty and exclusive nature. You can snorkel and enjoy the seabed and numerous lava rock formations. The snorkeling lasts two hours.
Schedule: starts at 1:30 pm.
Snorkeling in Kona
After boarding the boat, the tour searches for the most beautiful coral reefs off the coast of Kona. You will visit eight different reefs and may spot dolphins, manta rays, and whales during the three and a half hour activity.
Schedule: starts at 8:30 am.
Snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay
A small boat will take you to Kealakekua Bay, where a monument honors Captain James Cook. The bay features unspoiled waters accessible only by boat. Marine life includes bottlenose dolphins, pilot whales, spotted dolphins, and manta rays. The tour lasts four hours.
Schedule: starts at 8:30 am.
Whale watching
From December to April, whales are often present in the waters around Hawaii. The tour will attempt to get close to them, though the number of whales may vary due to unpredictability, sea currents, wind, and weather conditions.
