We'll meet at the central El-Tahrir Plaza, in front of La Poire Café, to kick off our gastronomic adventure through Egypt's capital.

After a brief introduction to traditional Egyptian cuisine, we'll set off through downtown Cairo in search of traditional flavors. Our first stop will introduce a refreshing juice beverage, followed by a visit to the iconic Champollion Palace.

Next, we'll savor a quintessential Egyptian dish, Koshari, at a typical street cart. This dish combines rice, lentils, macaroni, garbanzos, and tomato sauce. We will also experience another street cart offering an array of sandwiches, with three options to choose from.

Then we'll head to a fresh street food venue to experience a familiar recipe transformed by local preparation. Prepare for a unique culinary revelation!

The tour continues with a taste of traditional falafel, known locally as ta'meya, along with insights into its preparation. As a grand finale, we’ll enjoy a classic Egyptian dessert called feteer meshaltet, made of puff pastry.

After two hours of culinary exploration, our tour will conclude on 26th of July Street, in front of the Gad restaurant. You are welcome to continue enjoying Egyptian cuisine at your own pace.
