Tour Details

Upon pickup at your hotel in Cairo, you will travel to the international airport to take a plane to Amman in an air-conditioned bus. After arrival at the Jordanian terminal, proceed by bus to the Petra archaeological site. An English-speaking guide will lead you through the historical monument, including the notable Al-Khazneh or 'The Treasury', which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The tour continues to the tombs of Petra, highlighting this necropolis as a significant historical site in the Middle East. This site has appeared in films like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and 'Transformers'.

After the tour, enjoy lunch in Petra. Then, return to Amman for the flight back to Cairo and transportation to your hotel.

Extra Day in Aman

Optionally, extend your experience by adding another day in Aman. After lunch in Petra, you will be taken to a central hotel in the Jordanian capital for an overnight stay. The following day, begin with breakfast at the hotel and proceed on a guided tour of the center of Aman, visiting major monuments like the Roman theatre and the Citadel.

After the tour, you will head to the Jordanian airport for your flight to Cairo and then return to your hotel.

Important Information

Ensure you have a valid passport for travel to Jordan. At the Jordan airport, relevant arrival and departure fees totaling approximately 60 US dollars must be paid.
