Museum's History

The construction of this extensive exhibition began in 1990, with actual work commencing in the early 2000s.

What's Inside the Museum?

Once fully opened, you'll find:

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and proceed to the GEM in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. The 2-hour tour will begin by checking out the hanging obelisk dedicated to Ramesses II located outside the museum.

Upon entering through the Grand Hall, you'll see a 12-metre statue of Pharaoh Ramesses II, among other significant artifacts. The tour includes a view of the Grand Staircase and several sculptures related to the journey to eternity.

We will conclude with a view of the Pyramids of Giza and a stop at the museum's gift shop for souvenirs. The total duration will be between 3 and 4 hours.
