Pyramids of Giza, Memphis and Saqqara

Fall in love with Egypt on this excursion to the Giza pyramids, the Saqqara necropolis, and Memphis, once the capital of the country. Our Egyptology expert will take you back almost 5,000 years to the land of the pharaohs.

Tour Options

When making your reservation, you can choose from the following options:

Half-Day Tour (3 hours)

At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and head to Giza, located about 20 km (12.4 mi) from the capital.

In Giza, you’ll enjoy a guided tour to explore the Great Sphinx and the three largest pyramids built for pharaohs Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure. You’ll have the option to enter the pyramids if comfortable. After visiting the pyramids, we'll return to your hotel in Cairo, concluding this 3-hour activity.

Full-Day Tour (8 hours)

At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and head to Giza for the guided tour of the Great Sphinx and the three pyramids.

During lunch, we stop for a typical menu, including grilled chicken kebabs, vegetables, hummus, tahini, Arabic bread, sweet pastries, and fruit salad.

After lunch, we'll visit the Saqqara necropolis, including the pyramid of Pharaoh Zoser. We'll also visit the recently opened tomb of Chaty Mehu, noted for its well-preserved hieroglyphs. Our final stop will be Memphis, where you can see the sculpture of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx. The tour then ends back at your hotel after 8 hours.

Inside the Pyramids

You can choose to go inside either the Khafre or Menkaure pyramids for 300EGP, or visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops for 1500EGP. Due to time constraints, visiting all three is not possible. Tickets are purchased on-site in cash and local currency.
