Pyramids of Giza, Memphis and Saqqara

Fall in love with Egypt on this excursion to the Giza pyramids, the Saqqara necropolis, and Memphis, the historical capital of the country.

Tour Options

When making your reservation, you can choose from the following options:

Half-Day Tour (3 hours)

At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and head to Giza, located about 20 km (12.4 mi) from the capital.

In Giza, enjoy a guided tour to explore the Great Sphinx of Giza and the three iconic pyramids built for pharaohs Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure. Optionally, you can enter the pyramids if comfortable in enclosed spaces.

After the visit, we’ll return to your hotel in Cairo, concluding this 3-hour activity.

Full-Day Tour (8 hours)

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and head to Giza for the same guided tour of the Great Sphinx and the three pyramids as in the half-day option.

At lunchtime, enjoy a typical menu including grilled chicken kebabs, hummus, tahini, and Arabic bread, with pastries and fruit salad for dessert.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Saqqara necropolis, home to Pharaoh Zoser's pyramid. We’ll also visit the newly opened tomb of Chaty Mehu with well-preserved hieroglyphs.

Finally, we'll stop at Memphis, the old capital, to see the sculpture of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphynx, before concluding the tour back at your hotel after 8 hours.

Inside the Pyramids

If you’re comfortable in tight spaces, you can visit either the Khafre or Menkaure pyramids for 300 EGP, or the Great Pyramid of Cheops for 1500 EGP. Due to time constraints, visiting all three isn’t possible. Tickets are purchased on-site in cash and local currency.
