On this private day trip to the White Desert and Bahariya Oasis from Cairo, we'll see stunning limestone formations and much more!

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Cairo before setting off on our journey to the Bahariya Oasis, which will take about 4 hours.

Aboard an offroading vehicle, we'll explore the oasis, a prominent agricultural hub in Pharaonic times. The area features fertile landscapes, palm groves, natural springs, and various date and olive crops.

After visiting the oasis, we'll grab a bite to eat in a local restaurant before resuming our journey in the 4x4 through the White Desert National Park. You'll notice that not all parts of this area are a snowy white, especially in the region known as the Black Desert, recognized for its basalt mounds.

We'll then venture into the heart of the White Desert, appreciating the limestone formations in the Agabat Valley and marveling at the Crystal Mountain. After this, we'll explore the sand dunes of the White Desert.

We'll return to the Bahariya Oasis in the offroading vehicle and switch to another vehicle to bring you back to your hotel in Cairo approximately 17 hours after pickup.
