Peek A Boo Canyon Tour

During this excursion through Peek A Boo Canyon, located north of Kanab, we will walk along the 30-meter high (100 feet) red cliff walls, providing opportunities to photograph unique landscapes.

We will meet at the Kane County Information Center at the appointed time and head about 16 kilometres (10 miles) north of Kanab.

Here, we will encounter the famous natural monument, the Red Canyon, known as Peek A Boo. This maze-like landscape features imposing gorges and deep passages.

Once we arrive, we will enjoy a hike through the winding trails. Access to the canyon involves a sandy track and a short section through rolling dune fields. As we explore the rock walls, you will see the reddish sandstone landscapes of the gorge, which in some parts reaches 30 meters (100 feet) tall.

We will take advantage of the hours when sunlight hits the canyon at the best angle for photography. Despite being less popular than other canyons in Utah or Arizona, Peek A Boo is breathtaking and impressive, allowing us to stroll quietly through its galleries without large crowds.

At the end of the tour, we will drive back to Kanab and drop you off at the meeting point around 12:30 pm.
