Peek A Boo Canyon Tour

During this excursion through Peek A Boo Canyon, located north of Kanab, we'll walk along the 30-meter high (100 feet) red cliff walls, providing ample opportunities for photography of the landscapes.

We'll meet at the Kane County Information Center at the appointed time and head about 16 kilometres (10 miles) north of Kanab.

Here we'll encounter the Red Canyon, known as Peek A Boo, characterized by its maze-like landscape of gorges and deep passages.

Once we arrive, a hike through the winding trails will commence. Access to the canyon is via a sandy track and a short section through rolling dune fields. Within the rock walls, the reddish sandstone landscapes of the gorge, reaching 30 meters (100 feet) tall in places, will be observed.

We will utilize the optimal sunlight hours for photography. Peek A Boo, although less famous than other canyons in Utah or Arizona, offers stunning views and fewer crowds, allowing for a quieter exploration of its galleries.

At the end of the tour, we will return to Kanab, dropping you off at the meeting point around 12:30 pm.
