Enjoy some of Sri Lanka's most breath-taking scenery with this trip to the Horton Plains National Park. Along the way, you will encounter extensive tea plantations, waterfalls, and much more.

Horton Plains and Tea Estate Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kandy at 7 am. From there, we will make a pleasant road trip by private vehicle into the country's interior.

About three and a half hours later, we will arrive at Horton Plains National Park. Upon arrival, you will be surrounded by beautiful green landscapes.

We will take a gentle hike through this unique place, in search of the area's wildlife. Look out for the colorful Wali Kukula bird, which is common here. This region is also home to leopards, and it is possible to spot them.

After our hike, the guide will assist you in selecting a restaurant to eat and replenish your energy (not included) before we continue the tour.

Having regained our strength, we will move on to Nuwara Eliya, the tea industry capital of Sri Lanka. Here, we will learn about the production process of tea, from the plantation to its arrival at our homes.

Finally, we'll return to Kandy, arriving between 7 pm and 9 pm, depending on traffic.
