Hurulu Eco Park Safari
The tour departs from your hotel in Kandy at 11 am, arriving at Hurulu Eco Park three hours later. Upon arrival, participants will board a jeep for a photographic safari around the park, exploring its rich biodiversity, including turtles, leopards, and amphibians. The park is also home to numerous bird species such as parrots, hawks, and peacocks.
After a picnic break, the highlight of the safari will be the Hurulu elephants sighting, where participants can observe these large animals up close and learn about their customs and lifestyle.
The final stop will be at the Hurulu wewa reservoir, where various bird species come to drink. Some of these birds travel significant distances to rest at these waters in Sri Lanka.
The safari concludes back at the entrance, where participants will take a minibus back to Kandy, with an estimated arrival time at your hotel set for 8:30 pm.
