Hurulu Eco Park Safari

We'll leave from your hotel in Kandy at 11 am. Three hours later, we'll arrive at one of the most renowned nature reserves in Sri Lanka, Hurulu Ecological Park.

At the entrance, we'll get on a jeep and begin the photographic safari around Hurulu. As we drive along, we'll discover the biodiversity of this area of Sri Lanka: turtles, leopards, amphibians... The different ecosystems around the reserve are also home to a variety of bird species such as parrots, hawks, and peacocks.

After a break to enjoy your picnic, we'll reach the highlight of the safari: the Hurulu elephants sighting. You'll be amazed by the enormous size of these animals up close! As we approach the herds, we'll learn about the intriguing customs and way of life of these mammals.

The last stop will be at the Hurulu Wewa reservoir, where many bird species come to drink from the shore. Numerous birds travel hundreds of miles just to cool off by these waters in Sri Lanka.

Finally, the safari will conclude back at the entrance, where we'll take the minibus back to Kandy. Arrival at your hotel is set for 8:30 pm.
