Enjoy some of Sri Lanka's most breath-taking scenery with this private day trip to the Horton Plains National Park. Along the way, you will encounter extensive tea plantations, waterfalls, and much more.
Activity Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kandy at 7 am. From there, we will make a road trip by private vehicle into the country's interior.
About three and a half hours later, we will arrive at Horton Plains National Park. You will be greeted by the green landscapes that surround you.
We will take a gentle hike through this area, searching for local wildlife, including the colorful Wali Kukula bird and possibly leopards.
After walking through the park, the guide will assist you in choosing a restaurant for lunch (not included) before we continue with the tour.
After lunch, we will proceed to Nuwara Eliya, the tea industry capital of Sri Lanka. Here, we will learn about the production process of tea.
Finally, we'll return to Kandy, arriving between 7 pm and 9 pm, depending on traffic.
