Enjoy some of Sri Lanka's most breath-taking scenery with this private day trip to the Horton Plains National Park. Along the way, you will encounter extensive tea plantations, waterfalls, and much more.
Activity Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kandy at 7 am. After a journey of about three and a half hours, we will arrive at the Horton Plains National Park. You will be greeted by the surrounding landscapes.
We will take a gentle hike through this area to observe the local wildlife, including the colorful Wali Kukula bird and possibly some leopards.
After our hike, the guide will assist you in selecting a suitable restaurant for lunch (not included) before we proceed with the tour.
We will then head to Nuwara Eliya, known as the tea industry capital of Sri Lanka, to learn about the tea production process, from plantation to home delivery.
Finally, we will return to Kandy, with an arrival time between 7 pm and 9 pm, depending on traffic.
