Private Sigiriya and Dambulla Trip

See one of Sri Lanka's most special archaeological sites with this private trip from Kandy. You will visit the archaeological site of Sigiriya and the Dambulla Cave Temple.

Day Trip Details

First thing in the morning, at 7 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Kandy and set off for the archaeological site of Sigiriya. The journey will take approximately two and a half hours.

Once there, we will explore the ruins of this ancient 5th-century palace, including the famous Lion's Rock and learn about its name.

After the visit, you will have free time to taste local cuisine in nearby traditional restaurants (not included).

Next, we will head to Dambulla to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple. This site is the largest and best-preserved religious complex in Sri Lanka.

Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Kandy, arriving at around 4 pm.
