Kaohsiung Guided Tour

The tiger and dragon pagodas, Confucius's Temple, and Lotus Lake are included in this guided tour of Kaohsiung.

Description

We will meet at the New Zuoying MRT Station at the scheduled time and start making our way to Lotus Lake. This large body of water is central to Kaohsiung, surrounded by various pagodas, markets, and important historical buildings. In summer, the Lotus Flowers cover the lake, creating a captivating sight.

Next, we will visit Confucius's Temple, dedicated to the famous Chinese philosopher. Participants will have the opportunity to wander around the building and write a prayer inside the temple.

We will continue walking around the lake to the dragon and tiger pagodas. The significance of these enormous structures will be explored. We will uncover the secrets and legends associated with them, and climb to the highest part of one for panoramic views of the city.

Finally, we will visit the oldest part of Kaohsiung and examine the ruins of the old walls. The tour will conclude 2 hours later.
