Kaohsiung Guided Tour

The tiger and dragon pagodas, Confucius's Temple, and Lotus Lake are key sites on this guided tour of Kaohsiung.

Description

We will meet at the New Zuoying MRT Station at the designated time and proceed to Lotus Lake. This large body of water is central to Kaohsiung, surrounded by various pagodas, markets, and historic buildings. In summertime, Lotus Flowers bloom, creating a remarkable sight.

Next, we will visit Confucius's Temple, dedicated to China's most renowned philosopher. You will have time to wander around the building and write a prayer inside the temple.

Continuing along the lake, we will arrive at the dragon and tiger pagodas. These impressive structures have significant cultural meanings. We will explore the secrets of the pagodas and the accompanying legends, and climb to the highest part of one for panoramic views of the city.

Our final stop will be in the oldest section of Kaohsiung to view the ruins of the old walls. The tour will conclude here, approximately 2 hours after starting.
