Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel in Kathmandu at a time of your choice, after which you will venture out of the city center to experience the rural villages situated to the south of the Nepalese capital.

The first destination is the charming town of Bungamati, located in the Lalitpur Valley. This settlement is predominantly inhabited by the Newar people, a historic community that has preserved their ancient culture, religion, and language throughout their long-standing presence in the Kathmandu Valley. During your visit, you will delve into the main customs and traditions of Newar Bungamati while exploring the village's notable monuments and landmarks. Among these, the architectural gem is the Temple of Machhindranath, renowned for its striking pearlescent domes, symbolizing this region of Nepal.

After your exploration in Bungamati, you will proceed to the neighboring settlement of Khokana, where the history and origins of the Newar civilization await. Your guide will elaborate on the cultural evolution over the centuries as you visit significant religious buildings, including the notable Shree Rudrayani temple. This impressive 500-year-old structure is recognized for its unique three-story architecture and intricately designed latticework on each level.

Upon completing your tour, you will return to Kathmandu and be dropped off at your hotel.
