Everest Base Camp: 9 Day Trek
Day 1: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding
Pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu for a 30-minute flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Himalayas. After gathering equipment, begin trekking to Phakding through forested terrains.
Day 2: Phakding - Namche Bazaar
Start early and trek from Phakding following the Dudh Koshi River. As we head towards Namche Bazaar, we will enter Sagarmatha National Park.
Day 3: Namche Bazaar - Pangboche
Ascent to Pangboche at an altitude of 3990 metres, enjoying views of the Himalayas, including a visit to Tengboche Monastery.
Day 4: Pangboche - Tukla
Continue to Tukla through rocky terrain and Sherpa villages.
Day 5: Tukla - Everest Base Camp - Gorak Shep
Challenging day trek to Everest Base Camp, enjoying views of Pumori, Lhotse, and Everest. Visit the monument at Khumbu Glacier before heading to Gorak Shep for the night.
Day 6: Gorak Shep - Kala Patthar - Pheriche
Visit Kala Patthar before sunrise for spectacular views, then descend to Pheriche.
Day 7: Pheriche - Namche Bazaar
Descend to Tengboche and continue to Namche Bazaar.
Day 8: Namche Bazaar - Lukla
Final trek to Lukla, passing remote villages. Enjoy a typical Nepalese dinner.
Day 9: Lukla - Kathmandu
After a final view of Mount Everest, fly from Lukla to Kathmandu, concluding your journey.
