Guided Tour of Kathmandu
This guided tour of Kathmandu allows you to explore key attractions in the Nepalese capital. The tour begins with a pickup at your hotel at the scheduled time.
We will first visit Ason Market, notable for its Newari community shops, temples, and shrines. The atmosphere reflects a rich historical setting.
Next, we proceed to Durbar Square, where additional temples can be seen, including an opportunity to observe the Kumari, known as the living goddesses of Nepal, who are viewed as embodiments of the goddess Taleju during their youth.
Our tour includes a stop at the Nine Floors Palace and a crossing of the suspension bridge over the Bishnumati River.
Following this, we'll hike up to Swyambhunath, or the Monkey Temple, home to numerous monkeys. The site offers panoramic views of the Himalayas and the Kathmandu Valley.
After visiting the temple, we will take a path leading to a sacred area used for cremation rituals by the river.
We will conclude the tour with a farewell at a central location.
