Kathmandu Spiritual Tour Itinerary

On the day of your tour, you'll meet your guide at 3 pm at the Hotel Marshyangdi in Kathmandu, where you'll climb on board a public bus and head to Boudhanath Stupa, the biggest of its kind in Nepal. Follow the faithful pilgrims as they turn the prayer wheels, and if you have any prayers for Buddha, you'll have the chance to light a butter lamp, which is said to focus the mind and improve Buddhist meditation techniques. Engage in a conversation with some of the monks at the temple complex.

After this first spiritual experience, you'll hop back onto a public bus towards Pashupatinath, one of the world's most important Hindu temples. Your guide will introduce you to the Hindu perspective on the cycle of birth and death as you explore the sacred temple complex, built in pagoda style. Discover the story of the Sadhus, holy individuals who have renounced their worldly lives.

As the sun begins to set, you will enjoy a peaceful stroll to the banks of the sacred Bagmati River, where you'll have the opportunity to attend a cremation ceremony, which is one of the most traditional rituals of Hinduism.

After this enriching experience, you will have time to feed your body at a local restaurant (not included). After indulging in the delicious gastronomy of Nepal, you'll visit one of the country's most popular astrologists... are you ready to know your future?
