On tour day, meet your guide at 3 pm at Hotel Marshyangdi in Kathmandu. You will board a public bus to Boudhanath Stupa, the largest of its kind in Nepal. Follow pilgrims as they turn prayer wheels and have the chance to light a butter lamp, facilitating Buddhist meditation, and engage with monks at the temple complex.

Next, you will take a public bus to Pashupatinath, one of the world's most significant Hindu temples. Your guide will explain the Hindu view of the cycle of birth and death. As you explore the pagoda-style temple complex, learn about the Sadhus, holy individuals who have renounced worldly life.

As sunset approaches, enjoy a stroll to the sacred Bagmati River to witness a cremation ceremony, an important Hindu ritual.
