Nepal Hiking Day Trip

When booking, you may select from three different options for your hike. All options include pickup and drop off at your hotel in Kathmandu, transportation in a 4x4 vehicle, and an English-speaking guide. Details of each itinerary are as follows:

Trekking in Tare Bhir

At 8 am, we'll head to the Kathmandu Valley, to the village of Budanilkantha. We'll embark on a 10 km (6.2 mi) hiking route in Tare Bhir, known for its unique vegetation and interesting birds of Nepal. The route includes scenic lookouts offering panoramic views of Kathmandu. We will return to Budanilkantha by 1 pm.

Trekking in Budanilkantha

Pickup is at 8 am to travel to Budanilkantha. This itinerary involves walking through the Kathmandu valley to reach Jamchen Vijaya Stupa, a significant Buddhist temple at Budanilkantha Hill. We will also visit the Krishna Mandir temple and traditional villages, enjoying natural landscapes over approximately five hours of trekking.

Trekking in Shivapuri Nagarjun

After hotel pickup, we'll go to Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. The hike includes views of three main Himalayan peaks: Annapurna, Manaslu, and Ganesh. We will also see waterfalls and forests, observing Nepalese wildlife such as monkeys, deer, and various native birds. The tour concludes back at your hotel in Kathmandu.
