The capital of Nepal awaits on this private tour of Kathmandu. After picking you up from your hotel at the selected time, we'll drive to the city centre to begin exploring.

We'll embark on a guided walking tour of Kathmandu, focusing on Durbar Square, or "Royal Palace Square", home to many significant buildings and monuments. Admire the Hanuman Dhoka, a palace complex where the former Nepalese monarchy lived until 1886, while your guide discusses important events in Nepal's history and the influence of Hinduism and Buddhism on daily life.

We will then drive through Freak Street before reaching Kumari House, where we will learn about the Living Goddess or Kumari, a young girl venerated as a deity.

Next, we will head to Swayambhunath, a religious complex that offers panoramic views of Kathmandu from its hilltop location. The temple, over 2500 years old, features golden colors and prominent images of the Buddha's eyes on all sides.

The private tour will conclude back at your hotel after three and a half hours of exploring this unique city and its fascinating temples, palaces, and history.

On the day of your tour, you will pay 10 US Dollars per person to enter Durbar Square and 2 US Dollars per person for Swayambhunath Temple, to be paid directly to your guide in cash.
