At 8 am, hotel pickups in Katowice will commence, with approximately an hour's drive to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the site of some of the most horrific acts in contemporary history.

The site consists of several camps. We'll begin by visiting Auschwitz I, originally constructed to house political prisoners. Over time, it became a place of confinement for those targeted by the Nazis, including Jews, homosexuals, Romani people, and the intelligentsia. At the entrance, you'll notice the inscription reading "Arbeit macht frei". Learn about its meaning as we proceed to explore the cramped cells where prisoners lived and the locations designated for forced labor.

Next, our tour continues to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the extermination camp responsible for countless deaths. Here, we will observe the remains of the crematoriums and gas chambers, which were demolished by German forces to prevent evidence of their atrocities.

The tour will conclude back in Katowice at 3 pm.

Guide confirmation will be provided 12 to 16 hours prior to the activity.A minimum group size is necessary to access the camp with a guide. If this minimum is not met, the activity may be cancelled or rescheduled.Tickets and guides are reserved as soon as the minimum group size is achieved. However, for last-minute bookings, availability of guides cannot be guaranteed, leading to possible cancellation of the activity.
