The tour begins at Market Square, established in the 19th century, featuring the Katowice tramway. Key sights include the Silesian Theatre, a neoclassical structure by architect Carl Moritz.
Next, we will visit the cultural hub of the city, featuring the Spodek arena, the International Congress Centre, the Art Nouveau building of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Silesian Museum, which is located in a former mine.
The tour will proceed to the historic Nikiszowiec housing estate, known for its red brick buildings that served mine and metallurgical workers. This area holds historical significance and is designated as an official Historic Monument in Poland.
