Katowice Private Tour
On our Katowice Private Tour, we will explore the cultural significance of Katowice and its Art Nouveau buildings. A personal guide will be available for you and your group.
The tour starts with a pickup from your hotel at your chosen time. We will visit the Market Square, a 19th-century area served by the Katowice tramway. Here, you will see the Silesian Theatre, a neoclassical structure designed by architect Carl Moritz.
Next, we will proceed to the city's main cultural district. Highlights include the Spodek multi-purpose arena, the International Congress Centre, the Art Nouveau building of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Silesian Museum, which is housed in a former mine.
The tour will continue to the historic housing estate of Nikiszowiec, known for its red brick buildings constructed for mine and metallurgical workers. This area is classified as an official Historic Monument in Poland due to its importance in the 20th century.
After 4 hours of sightseeing, we will conclude the private tour of Katowice with a return to your hotel.
