On this tour to Myra and the sunken city of Kekova, we will explore key sites on the Turquoise Coast, including the tomb of Santa Claus.

Myra & Kekova + St. Nicholas Church Tour

At 8 am, pickup will be from your hotel in Kemer. We will drive through the Taurus Mountains towards the Turkish Riviera as we travel to our first destination.

Upon arrival, we will board a boat to sail to the sunken city of Kekova, an uninhabited island with remains of an ancient Lycian city submerged by an earthquake. Notable archaeological features we will see include the funerary monuments of Simena.

After the boat tour, we will travel to Myra, recognized for its stone-carved tombs. Here, we will visit the necropolis, the Roman theater, and the amphitheater. Subsequently, we will proceed to the church of St. Nicholas in the village of Demre, which houses the remains of St. Nicholas, the figure influencing the Santa Claus legend.

Following the sightseeing, we will enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Demre. Finally, we will return to Kemer and drop you off at your hotel around 5 pm.
