On this tour to Myra and the sunken city of Kekova, we'll explore three significant places on the Turquoise Coast, including the tomb of Santa Claus's inspiration.

Myra & Kekova + St. Nicholas Church Tour

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Kemer. We will travel through the Taurus Mountains towards the Turkish Riviera, our first destination.

Upon arrival, we will board a boat to sail to the sunken city of Kekova. This uninhabited island hides the remains of an ancient Lycian city submerged by an earthquake. We will observe archaeological vestiges lying beneath the water, including the funerary monuments of Simena.

Next, we will disembark and travel to Myra, notable for its stone-carved tombs. We will visit its necropolis, Roman theater, and amphitheater. Our next stop is the church of St. Nicholas in the nearby village of Demre, where St. Nicholas is buried.

After these sightseeing stops, we will enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Demre. Lastly, we will return to Kemer by bus, dropping you off at your hotel around 5 pm.
