On this tour to Myra and the sunken city of Kekova, we will explore three significant locations on the Turquoise Coast, including the tomb of Santa Claus.

Myra & Kekova + St. Nicholas Church Tour

At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Kemer. We will travel through the Taurus Mountains toward the Turkish Riviera.

Upon arrival, we will board a boat to sail to the sunken city of Kekova. This area conceals the remains of an ancient Lycian city submerged due to an earthquake. You will see archaeological vestiges beneath the water, such as the funerary monuments of Simena.

After the boat tour, we will travel by land to Myra, known for its stone-carved tombs. We will visit its necropolis, Roman theater, and amphitheater. We will then proceed to the church of St. Nicholas in the nearby village of Demre, where the remains of St. Nicholas, the inspiration for Santa Claus, are buried.

Following our sightseeing, we will enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Demre. Finally, we will return to Kemer and drop you off at your hotel at around 5 pm.
