The Little White House holds significant historical relevance. Built in 1890 as the headquarters of the Naval Base, it hosted Thomas Edison in 1918 while he worked on inventions for new war machines.

Currently, it operates as the Truman Little White House museum, reflecting the president's fondness for the residence situated in the westernmost part of Key West.
