Dhow Cruise in the Musandam Fjords
At the scheduled time, we will meet at the Lulu Hypermarket Khasab. From this pier, we will commence the dhow cruise through the Musandam Fjords.
During the 3.5-hour sail on a traditional Arabian boat, known as a dhow, we will explore the landscapes of the Musandam region. The journey will include views of islands and riverside villages such as Nadifi, Qanaha, and Maqla. Passengers can relax on cushioned seats and enjoy the ride.
We will also stop for a 45-minute swim at Telegraph Island, officially named Al Maqlab, which earned its name from a British relay station established there for submarine cable messaging.
After the swim, we will continue cruising through the Musandam Fjords, a noted attraction in Oman, where we can look for dolphins jumping alongside the boat.
Finally, we will return to the pier to conclude the activity.
