The tour meets at 9:30 am at Cronin's Yard, just outside Killarney, where the hike up Carrauntoohil Mountain begins. This 12 km excursion features trails winding up the mountain, providing views of the surrounding landscapes. The hike tests your endurance, as it ascends over 1,000 meters to the peak, offering the best views of County Kerry.

Throughout the journey, stops will be made to rest and enjoy the scenery. A guide will accompany the group at all times to ensure safety and support. The descent follows the same route via the Devil’s Staircase. The tour concludes at approximately 6 pm when the group returns to the starting point.
