Northern Lights Snowmobile Ride
On the Northern Lights Snowmobile Ride from Kiruna, participants will observe the Northern Lights while traveling through a winter landscape. At the scheduled time, we will meet on Torggatan Street and take a minibus to the base camp near the Torne River. After dark, we will begin our search for the Northern Lights.
We will be provided with helmets and receive instructions from the guide before starting our snowmobile ride through the snowy forests towards optimal viewing locations for the Northern Lights.
Various colors will illuminate the night sky. After viewing the lights, we will return to the base camp to enjoy a campfire.
Before concluding the activity, we will have a dinner featuring souvas, a traditional Sami dish made with smoked reindeer meat.
The activity will conclude 5 hours after departure.
