Northern Lights Snowmobile Ride
On the Northern Lights Snowmobile Ride from Kiruna, participants will explore a winter landscape while searching for the Northern Lights. At the scheduled time, we will meet on Torggatan Street and take a minibus to the base camp near the Torne River. After darkness falls, the hunt for the Northern Lights begins.
Participants will receive helmets and, following guidance from the instructor, will ride snowmobiles through the snowy forests to the best viewing locations for the Northern Lights, which may display shades of green, purple, and blue across the sky. After the experience, we will return to the base camp to share a warm campfire.
Before concluding the activity, a dinner will be served, featuring souvas, a traditional Sami dish made from smoked reindeer meat.
The entire activity lasts approximately 5 hours from departure to farewell.
