Torne River Canoe Tour

The Swedish summer offers a memorable experience with the canoe tour on the Torne River, allowing participants to appreciate the natural beauty surrounding Kiruna.

Kiruna Canoe Tour

Participants will meet at Torggatan Street in central Kiruna at the scheduled time. A minibus will transport the group to the Torne River, located on the outskirts of the city.

The tour begins with boarding the canoes to paddle the calm waters of the river, enjoying the scenic environment. Each canoe accommodates up to two people. Coordination is essential for effective paddling, and guidance will be provided by a tour leader throughout the experience.

The canoeing route will cover a distance of between 5 and 10 kilometres (between 3.1 and 6.2 miles), determined by weather conditions. Participants can expect to see hills and lush vegetation while listening to the local birdlife, making this tour a blend of tourism, sport, and relaxation.

After the canoeing, the group will return to the minibus for a 4-hour drive back to the starting point, concluding the tour.
