Embark on a remarkable boat excursion to Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa Island, where you will navigate the crystal-clear turquoise waters of Kissamos Bay and encounter some of Crete's most stunning attractions.

Boat Tour to Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa Island

We will gather at Kissamos port at the prearranged time to begin our adventure around Crete.

As we set sail, the journey unfolds along dramatic cliffs, hidden caves, and serene coves while we glide across the expansive blue of the Aegean Sea. The route circumnavigates the coastline of Crete, allowing us to pause and appreciate the striking elevation differences visible along both the western and eastern shores. Eventually, we will approach Gramvousa Island and the nearby Cape Vouxa, offering breathtaking views of the distant Valenti, Pontikonisi, and Balos lagoons.

Weather permitting, we will anchor for two hours in Gramvousa or two and a half hours in Balos Lagoon, giving you the chance to swim and explore independently. In Gramvousa, famously known as the 'pirate island,' you'll discover a picturesque beach with the remnants of a shipwreck or you can choose to hike up to the castle of Gramvousa.

Should we anchor at the Balos Lagoon, prepare to experience one of the most exquisite beaches globally. Marvel at its striking turquoise waters, unwind on the pink sands accented with shells, and take in the stunning natural surroundings.

Onboard, a variety of food options will be available for purchase, perfect for rejuvenating ourselves during the excursion.

As our day winds down, we will make our way back to Kissamos port, where we will disembark approximately seven hours after our departure.
