Want to feel like a real explorer? Animals, spectacular landscapes, and the wildlife of southeastern Sri Lanka await us in this private safari in Yala National Park.

Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ella and travel to Yala National Park. On this 1-day safari, we will see leopards and elephants along with sloths in their natural habitat.

After a 2.5-hour drive, we will arrive at Yala National Park, known as one of the best locations in Sri Lanka for game viewing.

Upon arrival, we will purchase the tickets and begin an off-roading vehicle tour through the park. Before the safari, we will take a break for breakfast.

Now it's time for the safari! Yala is the most renowned wildlife park in Sri Lanka. During the excursion, we will experience the country's greatest biodiversity, with stops to see the wildlife up close.

We will continue the safari exploring this natural area, home to elephants, leopards, bears, deer, crocodiles, and wild boars, spanning over 97,800 hectares (241,000 acres) as the second-largest national park in Sri Lanka. It also holds the largest concentration of leopards in the world.

Finally, we will conclude the safari and return to your hotel in Ella, arriving approximately 11 hours later.
