Adam's Peak Private Hiking Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kitulgala at 4 pm to start this Adam's Peak night hiking tour.

First, we'll go to the town of Hatton, located at the foot of the mountain. Upon arrival, at around 6 pm, we'll start the trekking route to the highest part of Adam's Peak.

At 7,359 ft (2,243 meters) high, the route features over 5,000 steps. The effort to reach the most important pilgrimage site in the country is notable for its religious significance and the views.

Did you know that Buddha's footprint can be found on the summit? As we walk, we'll learn various curious facts and legends about the area.

At around midnight, we'll reach the top just in time to see the shadow of Adam's Peak projected on the valley. We'll rest here for an hour, taking in the views before starting our descent to the town of Dalhousie, arriving around 6:30 am.

Finally, we'll have a comforting breakfast and then board the minibus to take you back to your hotel in Kitulgala, arriving at about 9:30 am.
