Lainio Snow Village Snowmobile Tour

At 10 am, we'll meet at Leviraitti Street in Kittilä. Before starting our snowmobile tour to Lainio Snow Village, we'll provide instruction on how to drive these powerful vehicles.

Once ready, we'll start the snowmobiles and begin the tour of Lainio Snow Village. The journey will take us through the snow-covered forest and tundra landscape.

Upon arriving at this small icy village, we'll enjoy a buffet lunch. After lunch, we'll embark on a walking tour to explore the ice constructions. Each year, different buildings are crafted, and we'll explain how designers adapt their creations to the weather for longevity.

Following the guided tour, we will return by snowmobile, making a stop in Levi. Here, we’ll take in the stunning views of the Aakenus and Kätkä hills.

After five hours, the tour concludes back at the starting point in Kittilä.
