Experiencing the Northern Lights is an unforgettable moment that stays with you for a lifetime. Enhance your journey through Finland by embarking on this tour departing from Levi, where the enchanting display of nature awaits.

Tour Overview

At the scheduled hour, we will collect you from your accommodation in Levi. Before we embark on our quest to witness the Northern Lights, we will review the weather forecasts, as well as solar activity predictions and our route, which may be adjusted based on the night sky’s conditions. Should the circumstances require, we are prepared to travel over 100 km (62 mi) to maximize our chances of seeing this breathtaking display.

As we drive away from the bustling city, we’ll share insights about this natural wonder, an experience many wish to encounter at least once. You'll receive valuable tips for your camera settings to best capture the enchanting lights.

Throughout the tour, we aim to stop at 2 to 3 carefully selected spots, each chosen for its excellent photographic opportunities and minimal light pollution. The enveloping darkness of a Finnish night will be essential for fully appreciating this light and color spectacle, ensuring a moment you'll cherish for years.

At each chosen viewing location, we will prepare to immortalize the experience through photography. As we await the spectacle, we will combat the chill with a delightful barbecue, featuring options such as pork, turkey, or vegetarian sausages, along with a warm red berry beverage.

While you relish this captivating display of nature, the guide will capture images of you against the backdrop of the Northern Lights, providing a memorable keepsake of this extraordinary experience.

Following our time observing the Northern Lights, we will board the minibus for our return to Levi, concluding a journey that lasts approximately 4 hours.

Pickup Information

Please note that this tour includes pickup from accommodations situated outside Levi's center, but within a convenient 10 km (6.2 mi) radius. Guests located in the city center are requested to make their own way to the meeting point at Myllyjoentie 2.
