Sirkka Ice Fishing

Want to learn how to ice fish? We'll pick you up at your hotel in Sirkka at 10:30 am and travel in a comfortable minibus to the outskirts of this Finnish town.

Crossing through snowy forests, we'll arrive at a frozen lake, where we'll learn the basics of this Lappish tradition. We'll learn how to drill a hole in the ice and wait for a fish to take the bait.

While fishing, we'll enjoy the silence and tranquility of the Lappish winter forests. To complete the excursion, we'll warm up by a campfire with a hot drink and cookies. If we're lucky, we will eat the fish we catch.

The activity will finish with our return at approximately 1 pm.

Pickup

The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off for locations within 1 to 10 kilometres (up to 6.2 miles) from Hiihtäjänkuja, 10. If you are within 1 kilometre (0.62 miles), we will meet you directly there.
