Discover the historic capital of Transylvania through an engaging guided tour of Cluj that reveals the rich tapestry of its history and landmarks. You will experience the charm of this unique Romanian destination!

Cluj Guided Tour

Your journey begins at Museum Square, where we will gather to commence our exploration of Cluj, a hidden gem in northeastern Romania.

Regarded as the "City of the Arts," Cluj traces its roots back to a Roman colony established in the 2nd century A.D. Throughout our walk, we will encounter several noteworthy sites scattered throughout the Old Town, with particular emphasis on the stunning architectural details.

Our first destination will be St. Michael's Cathedral, where we will marvel at the soaring bell tower that reaches an impressive height of 80 meters (262 feet). Next, we'll proceed to Banffy Palace, which serves as the home for the National Museum of Art.

Continuing along Mirror Street, we will traverse a charming boulevard characterized by buildings that create a captivating symmetry, enhancing the beauty of the surroundings. Our next notable stop is the Metropolitan Orthodox Cathedral, situated in the heart of the square, where we will observe the statue of Avram Iancu, a prominent figure from the Wallachian Revolution of 1848. To conclude our comprehensive tour, we will take a moment to appreciate the beautiful decorations adorning the National Theater building.

As our adventure draws to a close, we will return to our meeting place to bid farewell until our next exploration!
